Cannon Falls resident and decorated Army Veteran Jesse Johnson has announced that he will run for the Minnesota House of Representatives District 21A.
The district includes Goodhue and Wabasha County and is currently represented by Rep. Barb Haley.
Johnson, who currently works at Cargill Inc., grew up in Cannon Falls, and enlisted at the age of 17 to serve in the United States Army.
During his 20 year career, he logged more than 1700 flight hours as combat helicopter pilot. He was awarded the Bronze Star, two Air Medals and numerous other awards throughout his career.
