HOPE Coalition 35th Anniversary

HOPE Coalition is celebrating 35 years of standing alongside individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and a lack of basic needs in Goodhue and Wabasha Counties.

Natalie Lande, Development and Communications Coordinator, says this Thursday’s Gala at the St. James Hotel, Summit Room is sold out and they are so thankful for their sponsors and support from the community.

Red Wing Shoes, St. James Hotel, Associated Bank, Red Wing HRA, Teri Cook with Norwax, Reuvers' Nursery and Holos Health & Wellness are some of the many sponsors of the gala.

Melissa Drenkhahn, Outreach Manager, says in honor of  Domestic Violence Awareness Month, they have a gravestone display depicting the names and narratives for each of the Minnesotans who were killed due to intimate partner violence in the past year.

The display at Christ Episcopal Church, 321 West Avenue in Red Wing, both honors those victims who lost their lives and brings awareness to the prevalence of domestic violence.
