Highway 246 Resurfacing Complete

Resurfacing on Highway 246 near Nerstrand is completed and the road is fully open to traffic, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Work began on July 9the crews resurfaced Highway 246 from Rice County Road 26 in Nerstrand to Highway 56.
Crews also upgraded all guardrail and repaired or replaced more than 20 culverts.
These items restore ride quality, extend the pavement service life and provide a safer traveled way.
It would be nice if they would pick up the plastic and posts they left and the other mess.
