The Hennepin 153 Ice Fishing Classic takes place this Saturday, March 5th in Wabasha.
The event takes place from 8 am – 1 pm on the Mississippi River between Pools 4 & 5 on all waters between the existing railroad tracks on both sides of the river.
There will be fun for the whole family with food and refreshments available on site. There will be a silent auction and there will be 2 Grand Prize Raffles that all registered contestants are eligible to win with a $20 ticket. Prizes for 1st place in several categories, Northern Pike, Bass, Crappie, Sunfish, and Perch.
Cost for adults is $10, kids $5. Minnesota/Wisconsin border water license and fishing rules apply.
Pre-register at the St. Felix Parish Office, school office and select local businesses. Same-day registration opens at 7am on Saturday in the St. Felix Auditorium.
Weigh-in station is in the St. Felix School Parking Lot.
All proceeds benefit St. Felix School and Camp Anglelus Catholic Youth Camp.
