Goodhue County Safe Harbor is hosting a conversation with the FBI covering a case from our own backyard.
Any person who works with youth or has youth of their own may benefit from this FREE event, which is Wednesday, from 5:30- 7:30 pm in the Red Wing High School Auditorium.
A light dinner will be provided.
FBI Special Agent Brenda Born, FBI Victim Specialist Lisa Smith, and Victim Witness Specialist RaeAnn Costa, MS, US Attorney’s Office will be part of the panel and will explain what sextortion is and discuss some of the techniques and tactics used to sextort innocent minor victims.
The goal of the event is to motivate and provide direction to attendees on how to talk with youth about this crime and to share prevention strategies.
