Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity is keeping busy with a variety of projects this summer. Carrie Whittenberg, Volunteer and Family Services Administrator, says they have been working on building several new homes, including one in Red Wing and one in Cannon Falls that they broke ground on August 9th.
Whittenberg says new homeowners help build the house, which Habitat refers to as sweat equity, and it’s often a blessing for everyone involved.
