Giving back to the community is a No 1 priority for the Goodhue County Corn & Soybean Growers Association.
On Wednesday, August 19 from noon to 2 pm, they’ll be showing gratitude for their community by hosting a fuel event in Red Wing while also educating the public on the vital role of biofuels in their community and beyond.
It takes place at Red Wing Kwik Trip, Store #481, 4820 Highway 61 West. During the event, there will be discounts:
Fuel discounts for local customers
$0.85 off per gallon of E85
$0.88 cents off per gallon unleaded 88
$0.20 cents off per gallon B20
The Red Wing fuel event is just one way that the Minnesota Soybean checkoff dollars are investing back into the community.
Every time a Minnesota soybean farmer sells soybeans, one half of one percent of the market price is used toward investments in research, value-added uses and new markets.
The Minnesota Soybean Research & Promotion Council, in collaboration with the Goodhue County Corn & Soybean Growers, is committed to investing checkoff dollars in the biodiesel industry and increasing farmer profitability.
