The second annual Tayven Geiger Memorial Bean Bag Tournament benefitting the non-profit Tayven’s Pursuit is coming up Saturday, July 26, from 11 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Hampton Fire Hall.
According to the Cannon Falls Beacon, proceeds from the tournament go to Tayven’s Pursuit, a non-profit founded in memory of Tayven with the mission of “empowering student athletes and outdoor enthusiasts while honoring Tayven’s legacy.”
Tayven’s Pursuit sponsors youth to attend athletic camps, provides collegiate scholarships for committed student athletes and supplies gear for sports and outdoor activities.

The cost is $60 per team with team check-in starting at 11 a.m. and competition starting at noon.
They are asking for sponsors and are also accepting donations of raffle items and direct cash donations. Check out the website for more information.
The event will also feature a silent auction, food and drinks.
