Minnesota House members are taking their fourth tour to preview future bonding projects around the state this week.

The bi-partisan House Capitol Investment Committee kicked off their tour of southeastern Minnesota yesterday to look at proposed infrastructure projects that could be included in a 2026 Capital Investment Bill.

Stops Wednesday included the Minnesota Zoo, a water treatment center in Apple Valley, the Faribault state prison, a wastewater treatment facility in Albert Lea, and the Hormel Institute in Austin.

Today, the tour will take the committee members to multiple communities, including Wabasha, Hastings, Albert Lea, Austin, Rochester and Winona.

In Wabasha, they will be looking at the Highway 60 realignment and North Zumbro Sanitary Sewer District improvements.
