Our friends at Walker's Silvermoon in Alma are once again stepping up to support one of our own—a local family that means so much to so many across our river communities.
On Friday, April 17th, a F3 tornado took the home of Ronnie, Laura and Lincoln Engstrand family. Everyone, including their dog Odie, got through the ordeal safely and now the community is coming together to help rebuild what they lost.
Laura’s dad, KG, is part of the Silvermoon dart team. Her mom, Betty, is a dedicated teacher in Alma.
The fundraiser is Saturday, June 13th from 1-6 pm. There will be a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, meat raffle and a dart tournament.
Donations and basket items can be dropped off at Walker’s Silvermoon, S1582 State Road 35, Alma, anytime after Monday, May 18th.
