Eagle Center Field Trip Season

The National Eagle Center is ready for another exciting season of Bald and Golden Eagle viewing and waterfowl migration in the Driftless Area.

Beginning on Saturday, October 17 with a Tundra Swan and waterfowl outings focused on fall migration, the 2026/2027 field trip season will include a total of 13 field trips, including five Bald Eagle focused excursions, six Golden Eagle outings, and two swan and fall migration trips.

Traveling aboard the Center’s Eagle Shuttle, attendees travel to pre-scouted locations and receive a classroom-style educational program from an expert guide. These three-hour excursions are perfect for people ages 8 and up, including active seniors and individuals with mobility issues.

The shuttle features large windows for wildlife viewing, and can accommodate up to two wheelchairs and additional spotting scopes and photography gear. Field trips begin at 12:30 p.m. at the Center in downtown Wabasha and return between 3:30 and 4 pm.

Guests are encouraged to dress for condition and bring their own binoculars and cameras, though communal spotting scopes and binoculars are available.

Tickets are $50 for members and $60 for non-members. Seating is limited, and a waiting list is available.
