In preparation for street maintenance and upcoming winter parking issues, the Red Wing Police Department will start enforcing overnight restricted parking (no parking from 2 a.m.-6 a.m.) in the downtown area.
Enforcement action will come in the form of warnings in the meantime, but ticketing and towing of vehicles illegally parked in violation of posted signage will begin at 2 a.m. on Friday morning due to street maintenance.
