Clean Water, Land, and Legacy

The Minnesota Humanities Center (MHC) has announced over 40 Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment awards will go to support Festivals across Minnesota.

The following organizations or local governments in SE Minnesota were selected to receive an award:

Red Wing Arts, $45,000, Mid-West Music Fest in Winona and La Crosse $7,000 and Northfield Arts Guild will recieve $30,820.

This is the second year the Minnesota Legislature provided funding for festivals.

The Minnesota Legislature appropriated $3,000,000, less administrative fees to MHC to support Festivals throughout Minnesota.
