City of Wabasha Sewer Mains

City of Wabasha crews will be cleaning the sewer mains with their high-pressure Jetter Vac Truck from now until October, as part of the City’s yearly maintenance.

In some homes, water- but not sewer- from your lines can splash back, which is caused by a lack of proper ventilation.

To help prevent this, they recommend residents keep their toilet lids down during this timeframe.

 If a sewer odor is detected after this maintenance, running water through your pipes should resolve the issue.
