City of Wabasha Illegal Signs

The City of Wabasha is reminding residents about the laws concerning signs and where you can place them.

They have noticed an increase in unauthorized signs placed in the public Right-of-Way (ROW).

Please remember:

• Signs are NOT permitted in the public ROW (the area between sidewalks and streets, medians, and intersections).

• These signs distract drivers and block vital sightlines.

• Staff will remove and collect signs from right of way for safety.

If you are promoting a business, event, or garage sale, the City asks you to please ensure your signs remain entirely on private property.
