City of Red Wing Street Construction

It’s still winter now, but the City of Red Wing is already well into planning road construction in town.

The last major reconstruction project focused on East Seventh Street, and 2026's planned project will occur just a few blocks over, covering East Third, East Fourth, Sanderson, Green, and Arkin streets.

A full street reconstruction project includes replacing water and sewer infrastructure, as well as the street and sidewalk.

A neighborhood meeting on the project is scheduled for Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Colvill Family Center, 269 East Fifth St.

The City Council will hold a public hearing on the project at its meeting on Monday, February 23.
