City Council Red Wing Police Chief Sather

The City of Red Wing City Council will officially swear in Nick Sather as the new Red Wing Police Chief tonight at their Council meeting.

Sather has been working as Assistant Police Chief under current Police Chief, Gordon Rohr, who officially retired as of last Friday.

Also on the agenda tonight, Mayor Wilson will introduce and highlight the accomplishments of four city employees who have all passed their 1-year probation as a firefighter and or firefighter/paramedic.

All four will be joining the Red Wing Fire Department.

Tonight’s Council meeting starts at 6 pm.
