City Council Organizational Meeting

The Red Wing City Council met Monday for their Organizational Meeting.

2025 Red Wing Council President Janie Farrar will remain in that position for another year after being re-elected to the role at at the meeting.

Council Member Beth Snyder was elected Council Vice President, and Council Member Donald Kliewer was elected Council President Pro Tem.

The City also released the 2026 meeting schedule.

The new year brings changes to the regular City Council meeting schedule. Here's what you can expect:

2nd Monday of the month is the regular meeting at 6 p.m.

On the 4th Monday of the month, the Council will hold a Workshop at 5 pm and the regular meeting at 6:30 p.m.
