The Red Wing Environmental Learning Center is once again participating in the 10th Annual Salsalicious Celebration.
ELC Executive Director Jason Jech says all the funds raised go directly to nearly 25 different nonprofits in Red Wing.
Jech says there will a wide variety of salsas and it’s a fun way to support great causes!
The event features a new time and location this year, Tuesday, April 5th from 5-8pm on the 5th floor of the St. James Hotel in the Summit Room. There will be margaritas and beer for sale.
This year the ELC and staff are selling two different tickets: Raffle Tickets are $20 each and the top prize for this year is a $3,000 travel voucher. Thanks to the generosity of the event sponsors, that $20 is all going to the ELC to help fund the Sailing Expedition on Lake Superior this summer.
The Event tickets are only $5. That $5 will go directly to the nonprofit you purchase the event ticket from.
Over the last 10 years this event has raised just under $250,000.
