Red Cross Blood Drives

The American Red Cross is urging people to donate blood as emergency shortages continue and Red Wing area residents will have several opportunities this week, including one at Q Media Group.

Tomorrow, from noon to 6 pm, give blood at the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church Welch, 24036 County 7 Blvd.

They will also be collecting blood the next day, Friday from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm.

KWNG and KCUE will be hosting the bloodmobile on Friday, from 9 am- 3 pm. The morning slots are nearly full as of Tuesday, only 10:30 am and 11:30 am times are open.

There are plenty of later spots open so please consider donating.

To get scheduled, go online to redcrossblood.org and enter the 55066 zip code.
