The food bank in Eau Claire that serves 14 counties in Wisconsin, including Pepin and Buffalo Counties, is holding their largest annual fundraiser.
Feed My People's Empty Bowls 2022 runs Tuesday, March 1st through Friday, March 4th. Susie Haugley, communications specialist, says it’s a fun way to help them fight hunger and food insecurity .
Ticket holders may pick up their bowl gift boxes at Feed My People one day only on Wednesday, March 2 from 9 am - 6 pm. Haugley says the other option is to pick out your own bowl on March 1 or 3.
Every ticket purchase goes directly towards groceries and services for children, seniors, and families who face food insecurity in west central Wisconsin.
Every bowl gift box includes a handcrafted bowl made by a local artist, two exclusive recipes, access to a Pablo Center cooking video featuring both recipes, and a locally sourced soup ingredient. Ticket packages range from $20-$40.
Registration is free for the online silent auction which is live now and features local art, experience packages, and more. It closes on March 4 at noon.
