Bay City 20th Anniversary Commemoration of Patriots Day

The Village of Bay City is holding a 20th Anniversary Commemoration of Patriots Day on Saturday, September 11th.
Village Hall will open at 8 am to the public at no fee.
At 8:46 am, the time the first Plane hit World Trade Center North Tower, videos of September 11, 2001 will start playing at Village Hall and continue throughout the day. A display of the timeline of that day, along with videos and photos of the memorial sites will be on hand for everyone to view.
Food will be available for purchase at Village Hall throughout the event with funds raised going towards Bay City events, Bay City Jolly Seniors, and Bay City American Legion.
There will be a Presentation of Colors by the Bay City American Legion at 7 pm followed by Speaker Chief Scott Nelson of the River Falls Fire Department and a Deputy from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office at 7:15 pm.
Music to follow afterward in Saratoga Park.
Saturday evening will conclude with fireworks at dark between 8:45 pm- 9 pm.
