WNB Financial has announced Rick Vaplon, Community President in Wabasha and Kellogg, as the recipient of its 2021 third quarter Community PRIDE Award.
Community PRIDE Awards recognize WNB employees for exceptional volunteer service to programs, organizations, and initiatives that contribute to the strength and vitality of the communities served. This includes volunteering efforts made during and outside of work hours.
Vaplon is an executive board member for Great River Homes, a trustee and Parish Council member for St. Agnes Parish, and a long-time volunteer and past board member for the Wabasha-Kellogg Area Community Foundation, Wabasha-Kellogg Chamber of Commerce, and National Eagle Center.
As a Community PRIDE Award recipient, Vaplon received $100 to donate to the organization of his choice, which he chose to donate to the Wabasha-Kellogg Area Community Foundation.
In addition, he received a certificate of recognition and a Bank logo shirt.
