The Wabasha Port Authority is launching second grant program to support new child care businesses.
The new program will make five grants of $9,000 available for startup child care businesses. Startup child care businesses within seven miles of the City of Wabasha can apply for this assistance.
Grants up to $2,500 are still available for existing childcare businesses within a seven mile radius of the City of Wabasha.
The application and guidelines are available on the city's website (https://www.wabasha.org/economic-development/business-assistance/child).
Grants available on a first come, first serve basis.
