Wabasha County Sherriff Rodney Bartsch says the recent shooting in Lake City that they responded to showed the training deputies receive for emergency situations pays off.
He says when faced with danger keeping cool is key to staying safe and resolving the situation.
Bartsch says he see scams these days coming from a variety of sources, online, emails, text messages even door-to-door.
He says recently people are getting called about paying a warrant over the phone. He says that is not the way his Office handles cases like that.
