The 14-year old boy who was stuck in a sand hole covered in sand last Tuesday afternoon has died.
The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 medical call March 28th around 5:37 pm in rural Kellogg and upon arrival deputies started life saving measures.
Hunter Flaxbeard was taken to St. Mary’s in Rochester in serious condition.
Flaxbeard's death was ruled an accidental suffocation.
Kellogg First Responders, Wabasha Ambulance service, Kellogg Fire Department, Wabasha Police, and Mayo One assisted on the scene
