Wabasha County Property Tax System

Wabasha County Commissioners on Dec. 22 approved a contract with Counties Providing Technology (CPT), of Morris, for a Property Tax System and direction on implementation and funding options.

The Wabasha County Herald reports the Auditor-Treasurer’s Office obtained and executed a formal quote from CPT for conversion, installation, hosting, and support services to replace the County’s existing real estate tax system.

The CPT proposal includes: • Real Estate Tax System Rewrite. • Data Conversion and Installation. • Vanguard (Land Calculation) Integration. • Tax Web Access Modules. • IFS Support – Not utilizing. • iSeries Hosting and Ongoing Monthly Support – Not utilizing monthly support.

The Board chose an option which will go ‘live’ in 2026, with billing deferred to 2027.

The budgeted cost will be about $121,064.
