Wabasha Council Short Term Rentals

On Tuesday, August 5th, at 6PM the Wabasha City Council will consider approving a 12-month moratorium on short term rental housing in Wabasha.

This will mean that there will be no new AirBnBs or VRBOs allowed in the City of Wabasha while the City seeks additional time to study and evaluate the impact of short term rental through the City of Wabasha.

Public comments on the proposed moratorium can be sent to clerk@wabasha.org or public comments can be made during the public hearing at the meeting.

The moratorium is being considered after discussion at the July meeting on a growing concentration of Air BnBs and VRBOs in a residential neighborhoods.
