Wabasha Co. Sheriff Investigations

The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office investigated a Lakeville, Minnesota womans death that was reported on August 30.

The woman, 63- year old Barbara McBride-Law, was found dead in a camper at Mac’s Park Place and the death was considered suspicious until further information was obtained, which is standard practice.

Wabasha County Sherriff Rodney Bartsch says when they investigate a death, they call in death investigators from Mayo to assist.

Bartsch says their specialized team of experts have tools that really help onsite.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the body of McBride-Law’s body showed no obvious signs of injury or trauma but no further information has been released at this time.
