Wabasha Bike Share Program Open

With coordination help from the Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP), Wabasha Bike/Walk Advocates have secured six Republic Bikes for the City of Wabasha Public Bikes program.

The bikes have coaster brakes, fenders, a chain guard and non-inflatable tires. Bikes have a basket on the handlebars and are designed for short distance rides.

Bikes are free for the first 10 hours and need to be returned by 10 pm each day.

Bikes are located downtown Wabasha on Main Street at Heritage Park by the sidewalk under the Wabasha Interstate Bridge.

A credit card and a smartphone are all that is needed to unlock a bike. No charge will be generated if the bike is returned within 10 hours.

The Wabasha Bike-Walk Advocates are always looking for new members. Contact Caroline Gregerson or call 651-560-4860 for more information.

Thank you Wabasha Main Street and RETHOS, Bill Kay and Craig Falkum for supporting the construction of the new bike shelter!
