The public is invited to attend a 2-part education series on opioids and illicit fentanyl hosted by the United Way of Hastings (UWH) November 10 and December 1st.
Both events will run from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. and will be held at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church (400 W. 9th Street, Hastings).
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and. There will be time for Q&A at both events, and a variety of organizations will be at resource booths.
On Thursdsay, November 10th, speakers will be agents from the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Dakota County Drug Task Force (DCDTF).
On Thursdsay, December 1st, our speakers will include Hastings Police Department, DCDTF, Allina Health, RiseUp Recovery, and UWH.
This 2-part series builds on the highly successful 3-part One Pill Can Kill education series offered in April and May of this year.
