May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and the University of Minnesota Extension is marking it by hosting a COMET Training on Wednesday, May 27th at the Lions Community Center in Goodhue.
COMET (Changing Our Mental and Emotional Trajectory) is a free, interactive training program designed to help people support others who may seem sad, anxious, distracted, or depressed.
COMET teaches a simple strategy that friends, neighbors, and colleagues can use to engage with someone before a crisis occurs.
This is a free event, and ALL are welcome to attend.
Registration is encouraged, but not required.
