The roundabout at Twin Bluff Road and Pioneer Road has been selected to be part of a MnDOT funded, two day study to monitor interaction at roundabouts between traffic and pedestrians.
The study is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 27th. There will be compact and lightweight cameras placed near the intersection onto existing street signs that do not interfere with the traffic flow or function of the roundabout.
These cameras are battery operated and will be recording for a straight 48 hour period. These cameras are at lower quality resolution and not meant to interfere with the privacy of drivers and pedestrians, just to monitor the motions through the intersection.
The cameras will be removed at the conclusion of the study.
