Trail Walk and Ribbon Cutting

Tuesday’s planned community trail walk and ribbon cutting for the new segment of the Riverfront Trail in Red Wing was postponed due to the rain.

You are invited to join the City of Red Wing staff for the rescheduled event in one week on Tuesday, October 6, at 5 pm, starting on the He Mni Can-Barn Bluff side of the trail.

The new Riverfront Trail segment connects two of Red Wing's most iconic parks, He Mni Can-Barn Bluff and Colvill Park.  

You can now easily stroll or bike from one park to the other. The round trip is a little over a mile.

Take East Fifth Street east toward the river. Park in the lot or along the road.
