History Alive! Lanesboro, a non-profit that presents original Southeast Minnesota area history programs through the arts: acting, storytelling, dance, music, and writing, is bringing a special performance to Red Wing Thursday.
In collaboration with the Artist Sanctuary and Red Wing AAUW (American Association of University Women), Time for Women, 150 Years of Leadership written by Jane Peck, will be performed at the Artist Sanctuary, 602 West Avenue, at 3 and 7 pm Thursday.
Described as a traveling show of notable Southeast and Metro Minnesota women, from abolitionists to suffragists to protesters and lawyers.
Tickets are $10 and 15 and under are free.
Prior to the first show at 3 pm, there will be family friendly event with craft table at 2:30 pm and at 6:30 pm it’s a Pie and Ice Cream Social for 7 pm ticketed attendees.
