
The 2025 Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry Scholarship for junior level college students and above has been announced.
The Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry Scholarship Endowment Fund invites qualified students to apply for the upcoming fall/spring season scholarship, worth $5,000.
According to the Plainview News, the Fund is managed by the Rochester Area Foundation. Its application portal is open until March 31.

This scholarship is for forward-thinking students who are ready to cultivate improvements in the food and agricultural landscape while maintaining healthy ecosystems, supporting farmer livelihood and enhancing local communicates.
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide merit-based financial aid to individuals growing up in southeast Minnesota and attending school in the five-state upper midwest.
The Fund was established in 2015 and has awarded scholarships to eight students so far. These students came from Winona, rural Lake City, rural Red Wing, Northfield, Harmony, Lanesboro and Rochester.
