The St. Ansgar’s Mission Committee is again collecting school supplies for children in need at the Cannon Falls elementary school.
Many of the usual items such as notebooks, folders, crayons, glue, etc. ARE NOT NEEDED this year.
Following is a list of the most needed items: Headphones, Earbuds, Classic Color Crayola Washable Markers (Broadline), Sharpies (fine and ultrafine), Plastic Pencil Boxes, Sticky Notes and Kleenex.
If you are unable to go shopping for these items, but would like to help out, monetary donations are appreciated, and the committee will do the shopping for you.
Just make a check out to St. Ansgar’s and put School Supplies in the memo line or put cash in an envelope and write School Supplies on the envelops and drop it in the offering plate.
School is starting early this fall. So this project will start immediately and will end on Sunday, August 21st.
