The Twins play their final home series of the regular season when they take on the Oakland Athletics at Target Field tonight. The Twins clinched the AL Central on Friday and took two of three from the Angels over the weekend. Minnesota is 83-and-73. Bailey Ober takes the mound for the Twins tonight. The Vikings will spend the week gearing up for a game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The Purple are still searching for their first win of the season after falling to 0-and-3 with a loss to the Chargers this past Sunday. The Panthers are also winless this season. Additionally, Sunday's game will mark the first time the Vikings have gone against their old Pro Bowl wide receiver Adam Thielen. Sunday's game will kick off at noon.


The Minnesota Wild continue preseason with a game against the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center tonight. The Wild are 1-and-0 in exhibition play after taking down Colorado 4-3 on Sunday. Tonight's game will be the first time Minnesota has faced Dallas since the Stars bounced them in the first round of the playoffs last season. In other team news, the Wild cut their preseason roster down from 60 players to 46 players yesterday.


The Packers have released an injury report ahead of their Thursday Night Football matchup against the Lions in Green Bay. Eight players did not participate in yesterday's practice including Jaire Alexander, De'Vondre Campbell and Christian Watson. Elgton Jenkins also missed the session as he continues to work through a knee injury while Aaron Jones was limited as he deals with a hamstring problem. The star running back was inactive against the Saints. The Pack and Lions are tied atop the NFC North at 2-and-1.


The Brewers are winding down the regular season. The team hosts the Cardinals for the first of three games tonight. Milwaukee is coming off a series loss to the Marlins, but still leads the NL Central at 88-and-68. The Brew Crew also clinched a playoff spot and lead the Cubs by six games for the division lead. The Cardinals are last in the division with a 68-and-88 record.


Week Three of the NFL season has officially wrapped up. The Eagles took down the Buccaneers 25-11, while the Bengals edged out the Rams 19-16 in a Monday Night doubleheader. Jalen Hurts threw for 277 yards and totaled two touchdowns as Philly handed the Bucs their first loss of the season. Evan McPherson drilled four of his five field goal attempts and Joe Mixon found the end zone on a 14-yard run in the third quarter to lift Cincinnati to its first win of the season. The Bengals got revenge in a rematch of Super Bowl 56.
