The Twins pitching staff had another strong showing on the mound during a 3-1 win over the White Sox at Target Field. Sonny Gray tossed five scoreless innings to improve to 2-and-0. Michael A. Taylor drove in a pair of runs in the victory, but Minnesota lost Kyle Farmer and Byron Buxton to injuries during the game. The Twins have won their last two and they lead the AL Central at 8-and-4. Minnesota sends Joe Ryan to the mound against the Yankees in the Bronx tonight.

The Twins might need a new utility player for the next few weeks. Kyle Farmer had oral surgery after Minnesota's win over Chicago yesterday. Farmer was hit the face by a Lucas Giolito fastball during the fourth inning of yesterdays contest. The surgery re-aligned four of Farmer's teeth, and the shortstop also had lacerations on his lower lip sutured. After the surgery, the Twins revealed that Farmer did not have any fractures, although the team did not give a time-table for his return to the roster. Farmer is hitting .226 with one home run and five RBI this season.

The Wild wrap up the regular season with a game against the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena tonight. The Wild are coming off a 3-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets that snapped a two-game winning streak on Tuesday. The Wild are already locked into third place in the Central Division with 102 points and a 46-25-and-10 record. The team will be without Ryan Hartman, who was suspended for one game after an illegal hit during Minnesota's loss on Tuesday. Tonight's game begins at 7:00PM.

The Timberwolves learned their opponent for tomorrow's win-or-go-home play-in game. The Wolves will host Oklahoma City at Target Center after the Thunder beat New Orleans in their play-in game yesterday. If Minnesota wins, they'll have the eighth seed in the Western Conference. If they lose, their season will come to an end. Tomorrow's game tips off at 8:30PM.

The Packers are looking for two high draft picks from the Jets to make an Aaron Rodgers deal. Charles Robinson with Yahoo Sports says Green Bay is looking for a second rounder in this year's draft and a first-round pick in 2024. Robinson also says the Packers are willing to give New York some draft compensation back in 2025 if Rodgers retires after next season. Jets owner Woody Johnson has been unwilling to give up a guaranteed first-round pick for Rodgers.

The Bucks are releasing their first-round playoff schedule. Game one takes place on Sunday night in Milwaukee while game two is on Wednesday. The team will hit the road for games three and four next Saturday and the following Monday. The final three games in the series will be played late next week, if necessary. The Bucks will play the winner of the Bulls-Heat play-in game, which takes place tomorrow night.

The Brewers dropped their series to the Diamondbacks after a 7-3 defeat in Phoenix. Janson Junk got the loss after surrendering four earned runs over four-plus innings. Christian Yelich drove in a pair of runs while Mike Brosseau also had an RBI. The Brewers fell to 8-and-4 and are still first in the NL Central. The team opens a four-game series with the Padres in San Diego tonigh
