The children’s museum in Rochester has had a busy summer.
Spark, a non-profit children’s museum, is located in the Apache Mall in the south corridor of the J.C. Penny wing. Executive Director, Jennifer Staley, says they are allowing full capacity now but are urging kids to be masked when visiting.
Staley says experts agree kids having fun while they are learning is the best way to teach.
Spark is not just for kids, Staley says they are inviting adults to their annual fundraiser, Play It Forward, which takes place September 9th starting at 5 pm. This year they are calling it Under the Big Top.
General tickets are $75, VIP tickets are $150 and are available online at https://www.sparkrochestermn.org/play-it-forward. Staley says to RSVP by August 31st but they won’t turn anyone away who registers past that date.
