Sound the Siren Food Drive

Hastings Police and the Dakota County Sheriff's Office are facing off in the second annual Sound the Siren food drive now through Friday, May 27th.

The collection helps fight student hunger in Hastings.

The department with the most contributions gets to put a pie in the face of the losing Police Chief or Sheriff.

Drop off food donations in the lobby of the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office, Hastings Police Department, and Hastings City Hall.

For the link to make a secure donation go online to https://unitedwayofhastings.org/site.

Enter the amount, click Add a Dedication, and then indicate which department receives credit for your donation.

The Food 4 Kids program distributed over 8,000 weekend meal bags to Hastings schools during the 2021-22 school year.
