Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation (SMIF) is currently accepting applications for its Small Town Grant Program.
Nonprofit organizations, public institutions and units or agencies of local, state and federal government are encouraged to apply for new projects or expanding existing initiatives.
Towns with populations of 10,000 or less in SMIF’s 20-county region are eligible, including Goodhue, Wabasha, Winona, Dakota, Rice, and Olmsted Counties.
Applications are due to SMIF by Monday, June 26. Awardees will be notified by August 14th.

Last years winners of grants included over $8,600 to ArtOrg Studios in Cannon Falls, $,10,000 to the City of Kellogg, and a $10,000 to the City of Wabasha.
