Skate with a Cop Event 2026

Bring the whole family out for some frozen fun when one of the coolest events of winter returns this weekend.

Red Wing Police Department Assistant Chief , Brian Metling, says Skating with a Cop is back on Saturday, February 14 from 3-4:30 pm.

The FREE event will again be held at the Prairie Island Ice Arena, 370 Guernsey Lane, Red Wing.

Metling says the free community event is open to all, even families outside of Red Wing. Skates and snacks will be provided.

Metling says not only are free community events great for people to get to know the police officers in a fun setting, it also allows for the department to get better aquainted with them.
