SHIP Changing the Narrative
Wabasha County Statewide Health Improvement Partnership -SHIP, is sponsoring a free 90 minute session at the Lake City Public Library titled: Changing the Narrative on Mental Health and Suicide.
The event will be held on Thursday, October 29th, at 6 pm.
Facilitators will be Aubree Derksen, Extension Educator, Family Resiliency and Tina Moen, Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) Coordinator.
Changing the Narrative is an interactive conversation that empowers participants to change perceptions of mental health towards hope and resilience.
Throughout the session, participants will engage in dialog aboutbeing intentional in the words we are using.
