Red Wing Voters Meet and Greet Candidate Forums

League of Women Voters Red Wing will host a Meet and Greet at the Central Park Bandshell on Wednesday, September 4 from noon to 1 p.m.

Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon will speak on voting, registering to vote, new voting laws in Minnesota, and the security of Minnesota’s election systems. The public is invited to listen and ask questions about voting processes and feel free to bring a chair and eat your lunch as you listen.

League members will be there to assist with voter registration. Representatives from Hispanic Outreach and American Association of University Women (AAUW) will also attend to share information and respond to questions. 

The League of Women Voters will be holding candidate forums so voters can learn about the people behind the names on our local ballots. The following forums will all be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Red Wing High School auditorium.

School Board: Meet the candidates vying for four seats on the Red Wing School Board on Tuesday, September 24.

City Council and Mayor: Meet the candidates for Mayor, Ward 1 Council Member, Ward 2 Council Member, and Wards 3 & 4 Council Member on Thursday, September 26.

County Board and MN House District 20A: Meet the candidates for Goodhue County Board and MN House District 20A on Tuesday, October 15.
