Red Wing area residents are invited to attend two free events celebrating Veteran’s Day, one this Saturday afternoon and one on Veteran’s Day, Friday, November 11.
Lance Garrick, President of Hiawatha Valley Family Beyond the Yellow Ribbon, says this Saturday at 1 pm, it’s a concert to honor our veteran’s, past and present, in Red Wing High School’s Hovda Hall with the 204th Army Band from Ft. Snelling.
Friday, November 11 there will a Veteran’s Day commemoration at 9:20 am in Sonju Gymnasium at the Red Wing High School.
Garrick says the event will feature music by the Red Wing High School Band, Ovation, Minnesota State College Southeast musicians and a great speaker, Captain John Plehal, U.S. Navy Retired.
