Red Wing Schools Preliminary Levy

The Red Wing School Board met last Monday and unanimously approved the district’s preliminary 2026 property tax levy.

The proposed levy is $10.22 million, a 1.6 percent decrease from last year.

The proposed levy is the max the District can make it’s final number in December but it can be lowered.

The school board will meet on Dec. 15 for their annual truth-in-taxation meeting when they will approve the final levy.
