Red Wing School Board members will begin the superintendent search during their meeting tonight.
Barb Dorn, Minnesota School Boards Association's director of leadership development and executive search, will attend virtually to review the process of searching and hiring a superintendent.
The board will discuss and review: the Superintendent search timeline, hiring criteria and leadership profile, vacancy brochure, stakeholder involvement, and overall search process.
The regular meeting will begin tonight at 6 p.m. in Red Wing High School J110.
Current Superintendent of Red Wing Public Schools Dr. Martina Wagner, will leave the district at the end of the school year, effective June 28, 2024.
Dr. Wagner came to RWPS as the director of teaching and learning in 2022.
