Minnesota law requires schools board to hold organizational meetings every year in January.
The Red Wing School Board will elect officers and review committee assignments today at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, in Red Wing High School room J110.
Current officers are Ryan Riester, chair; Jeremy Koenig, vice chair; Jennifer Tift, clerk; Kayla Anderson, treasurer.
In addition, the board will conduct annual business such as:
Setting the 2026 meeting schedule.
Voting on financial matters.
Designating an official newspaper.
The meeting will be livestreamed.

In case of inclement weather, the organizational meeting will be held Tuesday at the same time and place.
