The Red Wing School Board voted Monday night to make Dec. 20, 21 and 22 non-student days, meaning your children should not come to school.
These will be teacher work days leading up to the scheduled Dec. 23-Jan. 2 winter break.
The board’s intent is to give teachers three extra days to prepare for the remainder of the academic year.
Kids Junction will be open those days, providing child care for grades K-6, 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. for a fee.
School sports and Community Education programs will be held as scheduled.
